There's something about... getting paid.
I've been asked to photograph my first event this Sunday as a paid photographer.
Like I've said before, photography has only been a (very expensive) hobby so far and I probably should have taken up something else, but it has been extremely fun for me.
The photography has been a tremendous help for me in terns of directing and cinematography as well since it's basically the same field, whereas I'm dealing with a single frame at this point, everything I'm learning will be useful knowledge once things start coming at 24 frames a second.
It's going to be fun. Plus, I came cheap at $125 which I really could use right now!
